There has been much said about the idea of sonship. The biblical language concerning sonship is almost exclusively ‘father’ and ‘son’. Concerning God and Christ, this must never be changed, but in the church there has to be some understanding. In this modern era women could feel excluded if they do not understand. Scripturally, all believers, men and women, boys and girls, are sons of God.

Over the last few decades as apostolic concepts have been explored around the world, there has frequently been a tendency towards external things. It's easy to observe what can be seen and praise the latest, greatest things happening. Big ministries who plant many churches can seem apostolic, and because they do much good, that seems to validate them as such.

Over the last 20 years, John Alley, and Peace Apostolic Ministries has travelled and ministered in about 40 nations, and on every continent. (excluding Antarctica) This has been a journey of love, and the Lord strongly impressed that we were to "take an apostolic message to the nations," and more importantly to "keep looking into the eyes of Jesus."

The majority of our ministry has been at our own expense, and the Lord has faithfully kept us. We acknowledge His goodness with this, and have come to depend on Him for all we do.

Last year we announced that we have commenced working towards building an online training environment where ministers, and interested others will be able to receive formal training in apostolic ministry.

What we have in mind is a large undertaking and we are currently well at work, with expectations of launching in the first half of next year. So far we have spent several months in filming and lecturing. We have begun building course notes to match and have begun constructing the programming and server backend for the training environment.

The Church is not going to be the same. Jesus said that you cannot take a new patch and sew it on old clothes, (Matt 9:16) no you instead just wear the new clothes. God is taking the Church through change (and some chaos) and bringing it to the place where it is new. The old won't stick and won't work anymore.

One of the most predominant changes here is that the Church is moving from being institutional and organisation based, to being relational and people based. It is our relationships, our love for one another that is the Church.
