Visit to Noah’s Ark Site

Visit to Noah’s Ark Site

It was my joy to travel with Jared a few weeks ago and visit the Noah’s Ark National Park.  It is also called the ‘Durupinar site‘ after the Turkish army captain Ilhan Durupinar who identified it.

We had a great time in visiting and thinking about the Bible, plus praying for the nation of Turkey, and of course, recording a good amount of video footage for our new Bible series starting on March 6th, 2026.

All sorts of questions arise in locations like Durupinar.  Is this really the site of Noah’s ark?  Is Noah’s ark a real story?  And of course the biggest questions are the theological ones.  For example, why would God destroy the whole world with a flood?  Isn’t God a loving God, how could he kill everyone?  Is God guilty of genocide?

All of these questions we cover in the Bible videos coming out next year.  For us, the answers all have a place in the very relational and loving heart of God.  Above all things we have a God who cares, and who is also very intelligent and sees into the future.  We have a God who isn’t slow to take action when he needs to.  Would you pray for us as we work towards the new Bible series.  Would you pray for its effectiveness at reaching people for Christ, and for teaching the Lord’s people how to love one another, despite whatever differences of opinion they might have.

Our current Peace TV channel on youtube is here:

The new Bible series will be on a new channel – here:
