16 Dec Ministry in North Queensland
Over the last few months, John & Hazel have ministered in eleven locations at about fifteen ministries/churches. Ministry has taken them to many places across four states in and near Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Yass, Newcastle, Tumbarumba, Brisbane. Two weekends ago John preached in Mareeba and Herberton in the Far North.
Everywhere that Peace goes we take a message about the relational nature of Christianity. At the time of Christ, the believers were expecting a kingdom that was political, but were surprised by its apolitical nature. It was a kingdom ‘not of this world.’ Similar mistakes are still make by believers today who see the Lord’s kingdom in organisational terms, when it is in fact something found in our love and relationships for each other.
This message is changing hearts and minds everywhere it goes, and is warmly received in the North. Our heart and love are with the brothers and sisters in Christ in the top end. May the Lord’s blessings rain down on them!!!!
